THE FOUR MODULES YOU NEED TO WORK ON
Basically there are 4 modules on the basis of which your exam result is evaluated:
-Reading
-Listening
-Writing
-Speaking
SPEAKING
The time duration lasts almost for 15 minutes for this module in which your speaking skills are evaluated in such a way that in the beginning you are asked basic questions associated with your daily life routine, moving forward to two other topics randomly selected by the examiner. The random ones could be linked to topics including holidays, the climate, interests, painting, travelling, etc., and with a minute to be ready with a pen and paper provided to you, you will be told to talk about that particular topic for 2 minutes, moving to a brief chat on the topic with your examiner.
LISTENING
In almost half an hour your listening skills are assessed, this module has 4 divisions after which you are asked to write down your answers in a time duration of 10 minutes. The discussion setting can be educational, social or linked to daily life situation.
READING
This module takes up almost one hour, covering 3 sections in which the length of the text progressively rises with section 1 and 2 having a smaller text, moving to section 3 with a full text. The reading sources might be from newspapers, journals, documents, books etc.
WRITING
Writing module is comprised of 1 hour, in which you are told to initially write down a letter covering 150 words and after that you have to write down a short essay that will be covering 250 words
