How to apply for a study visa in Italy?

1. Apply to the Italian universities
First step to apply for a student visa in Italy is to apply in the Italian university for study. Consider the best universities in Italy and apply in those institutes. If you are being selected in the university then you will receive an acceptance letter from there. The university will then ask you for an interview. If you get selected then the next step is to apply for the visa in the embassy or travel agencies.
2. Make sure that what kind of visa is needed
There are two different types of visas that are being offered to the students for study purposes. There are two categories in student visa i.e. short stay visa or long stay visa. If you are going to study some short courses then a short stay visa is enough but if you are going to select a degree with long duration then a long stay visa is required. Short stay visa is for 90 days but a long stay visa is for 80 hours in a month and lasts for more than 3 months.
